What's included in my website?

Your new website will be built using WordPress. It will be mobile responsive. It will contain the necessary webpages, such as your home page, services, about us, contact page, sitemap, etc. Content for each page will be created; you can send 1 round of edits.

What about my logo?

I can use your existing logo or design a general logo for your website. If you provide a logo, it is recommended you send a high-res logo with a transparent background in a .PNG file format.

What type of website security do I need?

Website Security: When you sign up for a hosting plan, please request a SSL certificate. You can also opt for daily backups if you update your site regularly. SSL certificates and daily backups come free with hosting by WPEngine, which I STRONGLY suggest.

I will add Captcha to your web forms to reduce vulnerabilities. This is free from Google.

Compliance: I suggest you sign up for a Web Accessibility Tool, which allows people with disabilities to view your website, while protecting your businesses from a lawsuit. I will configure this at no charge.

Email Security: WPEngine does not offer email service. You can use GoDaddy or other service. When signing up, you can request malware protection.

What about my logo?

You are responsible for the cost of

  1. Web hosting. I suggest WPEngine.
  2. Web domain. I suggest Godaddy.
  3. Email service. I suggest Godaddy.
  4. WordPress software. I use Themeforest and will send you an invoice for anything I purchase on your behalf.
  5. Stock images. I use Canva and have plenty of images I can use for your site.
